Outfit: Pink Cut-out and Tuxedo Blazer

Greetings Fashion Friends,

Tuesdays are getting harder and harder for me to blog. I know most of you are in the same boat and you're so supportive anyways, but I feel bad. I used to blog 6 days a week (Mon - Sat) when I first started, but then I shifted to Mon - Fri only. Now, I'm struggling with that. I try to dedicate at least 1 - 2 hours to blogging every day: that includes researching my topics, reader requests, posting my personal style, etc. However, I'm throwing in 30 minutes here and there and hoping I will complete one post before the day is out, LOL. Oh no, wait a minute, blogging is starting to imitate my work life......and that's not a good thing. Fashion is my outlet so when it starts to become overwhelming or resemble real work, I'm going to have to switch directions with the blog content or revisit my blog time allocation schedule....boring! Are you guys experiencing the same or similar struggles? How did you overcome them? Do tell....

This past Sunday I pulled out a thrift find that I have waited too long to wear. I have no rhyme or reason when it comes to showing love to items in my wardrobe. I'm pretty much all over the place. Of course I have staple pieces but its seems as if the trendy items get purchased just to sit in my closet. This cutout dress below is just one example.

The bright pink color is a great seasonal contrast (when it actually gets chilly). I plan to rework this garb several different ways. Also, I really love the padded shoulders on this blazer. FYI, the lapels are silk....hot!

The sleeves of this poor blazer are pushed up to maximum height.....still experiencing sweltering temps down here. SMH.

This cute little number has POCKETS!!!! Whoop, whoop!

Love the cutout.....because I wore a blazer over it I didn't care about my bra showing ;-)

Blazer - Thrifted
Necklace - Forever 21
Dress - Asos.com
Handbag - Alexander Wang 'Rocco' (gift from friend)
Heels - Karen Millen of England

Arrivederci!

Gurl you are one of my style crushes, I just wanted to let you know that. I love this look, so cute and chic!! I'm not gonna say anything about the shoes because you already know!! :-)

And I am still hating on the fact that you can wear something like this in mid December!!! LOL!

I love the bow details in the dress!! So cute! And that necklace!! LOVE!! I can't even think about the shoes! lol

Since my camera broke, I have been blogging less and less. Fortunately, I have been able to connect with readers and fellow bloggers through Instagram and Twitter, as well as FB. Although I miss blogging on a regular basis, I must admit that it has been nice to have this break, and still be able to communicate with people.

WERK! I love this combo.. especially that bag! I too have felt the rut - I just wrote a blog post about it too.. My advice would be to browse around and find some new blogs to follow or rediscover old ones for inspiration. That's what worked for me!

Just showin' out (wearing a backless dress...outside...in December)..LOL Cute dress and the pockets takes it to that next level of fab! Yeah, I can relate to the whole trying to post so many days a week and feeling a bit stressed, like you said it can begin to feel like "work" so that's when I back off for a few days...and it never fails I start to miss it, but having that control to take a few days, weeks, months off is the best.
