Outfit: Pink Floral Kimono and Sheer Maxi

Greetings Fashion Friends,

I hope you all had a safe and fun-filled extended weekend. Well, for some of you. I know there were many that had to work on the holiday and I salute you. The week after the holiday is always a challenge for me and my colleagues. However, positive thoughts and a bright outlook will help me get through the week ;-)

I wore the above look to church this past Sunday. It was so hot and humid I was tempted to take off my kimono but then I remembered that my dress was a little sheer so that was a big no-no. I accessorized with statement pieces to glam up my look. Hopefully I didn't look like I was a "rich housewife" getting ready for bed, LOL!

 

 

 

I just love the design on this kimono. I've always admired the Japanese aesthetic.

 

 

 

They marketed this dress as a maxi but I honestly would have thought it would have been more appropriate for the lingerie section.
