It's FRIDAY!!! I think I've finally recovered (mentally) from my fashion faux pas this past weekend. Guys, I almost passed out from heat exhaustion because I was determined to wear a dress that I bought months ago and justleft it hanging in my closet per usual didn't have the opportunity to wear it yet. I was thinking the chiffon material would be okay for a daytime event but I clearly should have put on my scientist hat and recalled the fact that dark colors absorb sunlight!!! Good grief! (in my best Charlie Brown voice).

The dress didn't fit like I hoped it would. I think I should have went down a size....but then again, this butt just be messing me all up. SMH. The dress' high neckline and long sleeves certainly contributed to my 'heated' moments as well. I've got to do better....
The lace insert down the sleeve was really cool......but provided absolutely no ventilation, lol.
Please ignore the deranged facial expression.....I'm sure I was about to pass out. I shouldn't have taken any photos. I should have immediately went in and peeled the dress off. LOL
