Greetings Fashionistas,
Happy Friday!!!!
I am getting ready to travel overseas and I am humbly seeking any and all prayer requests :-) Traveling is crucial to my 'Dora the Explorer' personality. I love experiencing what the good Lord has placed on this earth. Traveling also gently reminds me how blessed I am and how big this world truly is. Conversely, it also allows me to see the similarities from one culture to another. We focus so much on our differences that we neglect our commonalities. I recommend taking time off to add new experiences to your life. You will not regret it. If money is an issue, start small. A weekend can sometimes feel like a week!!!
Now on to the post. I'm loving the current cape and duster trend. Every time I wear either of these items I immediately hear the theme song from 'Shaft' going through my head, lol. It's astounding that we continue to be awed by fashions 'new trends' when in fact the fashion industry recycles trends every decade! I really need to extend my shopping habits to thrift stores and vintage boutiques. I'm just so lazy!!!!
Tchau!

I wore the above look out to brunch when the temps dipped for 48 hours, lol. Did I tell you guys that I LOVE this cape????
I would suggest not pairing your cape with a bulky item such as the sweater I'm wearing. It made me look huge. Now I'm not a tiny chick by any means....but I'm definitely fit.
Then again, it could be the white garments......white is so not flattering on me. Yet, I continue to wear it, lol. #Rebel
Can you imagine how difficult it is to walk on a cobblestone street in high heels? Well its a truly frightening experience, lol.
