Outfit: Simple Statement

Greetings Fashion Mavens,

Can you believe it's Christmas Eve??? Wow....the time has surely flown these past couple weeks. Let's just say I'm not ready and that's okay because I wasn't going to buy any Christmas gifts anyways. My family gets all year long and I am determined to refocus on what truly matters......the birth of our Lord and Savior.......Jesus Christ. Besides, we are headed to the mountains this Saturday to go skiing and of course relax. I cannot wait!!!!

On this past Sunday, my pastor was under the weather so the youth minister spoke. His sermon was titled "A Christmas Story", taken from Luke 19:1-10. It appears as if society has altered the true meaning of Christmas. We pursue 'sales' instead of the 'savior'. All of us need to become desperate for Jesus, determined to have an encounter with him. This Christmas is about the spiritual gift that we received through our Savior, Jesus Christ.

I wore a simple, black and white palette. My focus pieces were my polka dot clutch and statement necklace. Two of my favorite accessories of the moment :-)

I love these heels.....I try not to wear them too often because I want them to last a while......but they are soooo badass!!!

This necklace hates my hair. It constantly fights it, traps it within its grip, and breaks it off! Note to self: pull your hair up off your neck when wearing this necklace.

.......having a Marilyn Monroe moment, lol
