Outfit: Vintage Vest and Printed Pants

Greetings Fashion Friends,

It's hump day but I swear it still feels like Tuesday. My last two work days have been like Mondays.....I don't know what the heck is going on, lol. Oh well. In the post below I finally wore this vintage vest that I found in Chicago. When I saw it, I knew I wanted it but then I couldn't figure out how to style it in a way that was flattering to me.

Long vests/coats on a 'bottom heavy' frame can look more like a cape. I tried to balance the look by choosing a eye-catching pattern in a relaxed fit....but not too baggy or it would have made me look huge!

It's pretty much official......I love prints!

Wore this outfit out to dinner with my mom....who came to town so we could go shopping. She gets the shopping itch too, lol.

This vest is from the 1970s era....that polyester blend is itchy as heck!!!

I've given away quite a few bags recently to different family members. This bag is old but I couldn't part with it yet. The leather and nylon combo is designed together so well.
