Drag show and Olive Blazer

Greetings Fashion Pad Readers,

Happy Monday! It's the first full week of 2013 and I hope it's not a reflection of the future, lol. This week is absolutely hectic. It actually started yesterday as I worked at the pharmacy, however, our systems were down the entire day so all I did was sit on my behind, do some patient counseling every now and then, and read books on my Nook (thanks boo!). Nothing like being paid to do the minimum.....I almost felt bad typing that, but I work hard so whatever.

Just to let you know, I am behind on photo uploads so these pics below were taken when I attended my friend's very first drag performance. He was so excited. I couldn't miss it for the world. I honestly didn't know what to expect but the drag queens were sooooo hilarious and they were dramatic and very entertaining. Please excuse my photos because I was too excited and kept jumping up and down, waving my hands, laughing, etc. As a result, the photos are a tad bit blurry and unfocused, LMBO!

Flawless make-up......I'm so embarrassed by my lack of skills.

This queen was awesome! The other queens taunted her about her outfit saying she looked like a colorful Yetti (snow monster), lol.

This is my friend.....he was so awesome! Folks didn't believe him when he told them it was his first performance, lol.

Blurry photo....danggit! The eyelashes were enviable....

I love earth tones and this olive blazer and knit scarf were perfect choices for my wardrobe. They are super versatile and of course I feel great with a good blazer, fitted jeans, and fabulous heels......

The asymmetric cut of this blazer adds a modern twist to a classic style. And those earrings will never go out of style with me.
