Outfit: Pushing Boundaries

Greetings Fashionistas,

Happy Friday!!! I'm excited about my alma mater's classic this weekend in my city. I'm bout to hit up a couple of events this evening to meet and greet with my homegirl, but I don't plan to stay out too late. My family will be tailgating starting at 6:30am! I know I'm going to be looking crazy tomorrow, LOL. This will be the first time ever that we have missed the Florida Classic game but without the Marching 100, we just didn't have the motivation to attend. However, I will still support my school and purchase a ticket to the game regardless. Not sure what I will be doing Saturday evening but I hope I'm not too tired and I can head out and overdress just because I have a super cute mini I want to rock :-) I know I will have a fabulous time but please do share if you have any fun filled plans for this weekend as well.

The photos I posted below are from my business meeting I went to around happy hour. For those of you who have been following me for a while, you know that I do not drink. Well, I experienced more peer pressure from these 'professionals' than I have my entire collegiate career.....and that's saying a lot, trust! It was weird, but I just kept directing the conversation to the business at hand. I cannot wait to share with you all my upcoming projects.

I've always wanted to push the envelope with leopard print for a business look. Do you guys think it was too edgy, or do I still look professional? I don't mind if you're honest on this question ;-)

Not sure what happened with this blurry pic but I liked this pose so....

Oh I know you guys see those calves.....#projectgetfit

Girl you look great, the leopard skirt with the blazer and pop of red is professional and jazzy at the same time. You kept every piece very tasteful in fit so it works well for work in my opinion.

Very nice! I think your outfit was great for a happy hour business meeting -- chic and professional.

Also, I LOVE the fact that although you are not attending the Florida Classic game this weekend, you still purchased a ticket. I'm too an alumni of FAMU and will continue to support the alma mater through these tough times. Enjoy your weekend!!

You did great with the leopard!! The blazer and the red went perfectly. And I like how you chose a simple black shoe.

Have fun this weekend, because I know I will!! I have happy hour with the Hubby tonight, a night at the club with my girls tomorrow, and a wine gathering on Sunday. Whew! We both gone be tired come Monday! lol

I think that you look beautiful first of all and totally professional with a bit of edge added by the leopard print... but the cut of the skirt makes it suitable and classy!
