Outfit: Tuxedo Blazer and Graphic Tank

Greetings Fashion Pad Readers,

Welcome back from the weekend folks! I totally enjoyed mine and I can't wait to share pictures from the breast cancer awareness symposium I spoke at on Saturday. It was an excellent event and I am so proud of my friend and colleague for her extraordinary vision. We have several more events planned in the upcoming months because we realized that we have to do something to impact the health disparities in our communities.

On Saturday evening, I traveled back home for my aunt's birthday bash and we had an awesome time. Of course I tried my best to stay away from the food but....every one was chowing down and it looked and smelled so good. I ate in moderation but I still plan to cut back this entire week! I've lost 6 pounds and I refuse to gain it back. Any weight loss from here on out will be permanent (at least that's the goal). I pulled out my tuxedo blazer for the occasion because I've been looking for any excuse to wear it again, lol. Because this affair was casual, I paired my blazer with a pair of skinny jeans and a graphic tee. However, the heels were a must ;-)

I honestly thought my earrings and my shoes were the same color but clearly the lighting in my closet is a tad bit off.....LMBO! I obviously didn't care because I chose to rock them anyways!

FYI....I'm still madly in love with Tupac. I have quite a few Tupac memorabilia and I actually know the lyrics to all most of his songs. Anyone who knows me personally understands that alone is something to marvel at! LOL!

My brother.....who thinks he's such a comedian, told me I resembled James Bond, lol. He likes to tease my fashion choices :-)
