Greetings Fashion Pad Readers,
Welcome back from the weekend. I had a pretty good one and hope you all did as well. I ran into an old friend of mine and we agreed to meet for drinks (of course you know I had H20). I was so shocked to find out all the things that had been going on in his life. I know we all have our trials and tribulations but sometimes we forget that it could always be worse so we must praise good for our breakthrough and for peace in the mist of our storms. My heart aches for him and his family but I assured him, with God, all things are possible; he had to have faith and NEVER give up. Have you ever spit some knowledge to someone then thought, "where and the heck did that come from?". God uses us to intercede for others and it is an awesome feeling to be able to encourage others in their time of need. Needless to say, I had a very inspirational weekend!
On the other hand, I also experienced a seriously disturbing revelation this weekend. On Saturday, me and my nephew hit up the mall and after entering a couple of stores, I realized that I have little tolerance for the mall nowadays. Frightening!!!!! It was an overwhelming feeling and I couldn't shake it off. I barely even browsed! I don't know, maybe it was just that day, but it was so weird! *shudders uncontrollably*. Anyhew, below are pics of what I wore.

I've worn this little mini several times this past summer but I finally captured one of my looks on camera. We're still waking up to 80 degree weather so I'm going to dress the part......
When I spotted this dress online I knew I just had to have it. Something about the juxtaposition of the stripes had me sold! FYI, it also comes in kelly green AND it's on SALE!
Yea, yea I know that horizontal stripes supposedly provide the illusion of a wider frame.....I simply don't care about that. As long as the fit complements my curves I'm good.
So in love with the little pockets!

Crowded malls make me feel some kind of way as well.
Wishing positive things for your friend and any person going through difficulties.
Have a great week.
to keep his faith. I'm sure all will work out in the end.
Wider frame my behind!! Gurl bye, you look great in that dress! Very cute!
I will rock stripes whenever and I dare someone tell me different! And if they tell you different, point'em out so I can go in on them! LOL!
This dress looks good on you honey! It compliments you well. And I'm loving how you paired it with the gorgeous red shoes! You know I love your style =)
Xoxo
