Outfit: Crochet Top and Body Con Skirt

Greetings Fashion Pad Readers,

How was your weekend? I had a pretty good one. Saturday was actually the start of my weekend and it was a full day, which I so did not expect! It started with a big meeting at church....4 hours long!!! By the way, I'm now convinced that I have attention deficit disorder. I had a difficult time staying focused, lol. The church is a haven AND a business. Saving souls requires a full operation, it cannot be avoided. I don't really like the business side to be honest but I have to be obedient and if my pastor asks me to work, I can't say no. After all, the work is plenty but the laborers are few. After that, I volunteered with Obama for America to get people registered to vote. I honestly don't know why so many adults were STILL not registered to vote. It was so frustrating to me. I know politics isn't every one's interest but it should definitely be a priority at least in an election year!!! Oh boy, I digress! Just remember, the deadline to register to vote in the November 2012 election is OCTOBER 9TH!!!!

Later on that night, the boo and I kicked it downtown and I must say I had a new appreciation for the night life. I can really attribute my new found appreciation to all the people watching I was able to do. I'm not bold enough to take pictures of folks without their permission so I just have to say trust me.....it was a very interesting night, lol.

These heels are really comfortable and we didn't do too much walking anyways. I need some concealer for that ugly bruise...SMH.

This body con skirt requires a loose fitting top.....well, not necessarily, but I didn't want to bring out the "va va voom" factor. LOL!

Anyone would go crazy in a 4 hour meeting, I know I would. It's inspiring that you took the time to volunteer I've always wanted to & to be totally honest I'm one of those frustrating people that completely forgets everytime to mail in my registration form would definitely do that ASAP thanks for the reminder! I like the cool & effortless way you styled your outfit you look great as always!

I agree with pairing the slouchy top with the skirt, it leaves a little something to the imagination! I like to people watch too, I'm not bold enough yet to ask to take pictures either. We'll get there :)

Girl, know the work you are doing is not in vain. I know that four hour meeting had to be tiring though! By that time, I would have been biting my nails off lol.

I love to people watch, and I believe that's why I love going downtown on the weekends. I haven't photographed anyone yet, but I have been tempted to!

I love your bodycon skirt and those heels are too fab! I'm loving how cute and unique your earrings are as well :) Werk, hunni!

OMG a 4 hour meeting? At my old company we had staff meetings that would drag over 1 hr and towards the end it was a struggle to keep everyone's attention.

A four hour meeting...goodness gracious! I vote for the next meeting to be about meetings being more efficient...how bout that. Effortless chic is what I'll call this one...you made it sexy without going all Jessica Rabbit on'em;) love it chica!
