Outfit: Emerald and Snake Skin

Greetings Fashion Friends,

Well hip hip hooray it's hump day folks! My hump day is going to be a long one but it's all good. You can never really catch up on sleep anyways. Which is why I semi adopt the whole YOLO mindset sometimes. For my peeps that are not aware of YOLO (I'm specifically referring to my bff Ja'Kim, lol) it means You Only Live Once. Last night, after bible study I headed to an open mic show. It was very tasteful and the poetry, singing, and musicians were just awesome. I love supporting the arts and I feel like there is an underground movement to push social awareness through spoken word and music. Thank goodness because the crap I hear on the radio nowadays......I would rather drive with the radio off (which is what I usually do). Hopefully change will come quick!

I'm premiering two new items....my top and sandals are getting their first test drive.

I didn't want to appear too dressy so I paired this silk top with a pair of distressed denim to make the look a tad bit more casual. The sandals were gonna get worn regardless, LOL.

Love the back style......too fly!

The snakeskin heels were a hit! I think people asked me more about the heel than anything else!

Girl I always purchase my shoes in the store....I've never bought them online. You have to make friends with the salespeople and have them email you when the new collection arrives ;-)
