Greetings Fashion Pad Readers,
Welcome back from the weekend! I'm back from my vacation and I'm pretty sluggish to say the least, lol. I enjoyed myself immensely and the family is actually talking about going back next year.....which is a first. I took so many pictures it's going to take me at least a week to edit them....mainly because I'm lazy, lol. I was so glad my grandmother was along and she enjoyed herself thoroughly, which is another reason we're headed back. If she's pleased, we're all super happy!
Yesterday I dragged my behind out of bed to attend church. Now don't misinterpret the previous statement as a lack of eagerness to seek the face of God, I just was experiencing the after effects of vacation, you know, the period of exhaustion that makes you yearn for another vacation, lol. Anyhew, so glad I went because the message was from Phillipians 3: 1-14 verses and our associate pastor spoke on "Do You Have What it Takes to Take Your Faith to the Next Level?". It was a very good message and like all things from God, right on time ;-)
Arrivederci!

I found this little houndstooth dress on the clearance rack at H&M for only $7 bucks. Now wishing I would have scooped up the one in traditional black and white as well. Darnnit!
It is super annoying carrying a clutch to church sometimes. I was struggling holding my bible, clutch, journal, and accepting communion! Not a good look today. I was holding up the line when the aforementioned items decided to jump out of my hand simultaneously, lol.
At first, I was going to wait and wear this dress during the fall season but the material is pretty light and the darker colors certainly don't detour me because it's always "sunny" in Florida so you fashion rule followers can't really critique me too much on the colors.
My sister-in-law bought these heels for me last year for my birthday. I absolutely adore the satin ruffles and of course the platform style.I have worn them several times before, but I think this is their debut on the blog. I miss so many opportunities to take pictures of my outfits and new items. SMH. It's a good thing I'm not a personal style blogger exclusively or I would be in trouble.
