Outfit: Cut-out Queen

Greetings Fashion Mavens,

Welcome back from the weekend! I hope your Memorial Day was awesome! I hosted a cook out at my house and I had soooo much fun with my family and friends. I wish I would have taken photos of the food. It was heavenly! My uncle came over early to grill for me and my mom and grandmother cooked the sides and appetizers (folks come hungry to a BBQ so you have to have appetizers ready, lol). We jammed to old school music, talked trash, played cards, and joked over and over again. And of course....we ate to our belly's delight, LOL. Needless to say I'm on a serious diet this week.....and maybe next week. SMH

I love this dress. It has tiny little stars all over but they look more like polka dots so I'm happy...and it has cut outs in the back. My type of dress indeed!!! BTW, my nephew thinks he's an excellent photographer so he gets really creative with his "shots", LOL.

I have been wearing a lot of flats lately.....it's quite frightening to say the least. However, I've just been really lazy about dressing up. It's been hella hot and I have just been reaching for the simple pieces to wear.

I love these oxfords...they are too cute imo! Obviously I'm loving cutouts at the moment, but like I said, it's super hot and the extra "vents" are welcomed :-)
