Hawaii Recap - Part I

Greetings Fashion Pad Readers,

Happy Monday good people. I'm actually doing this post from work so er umm......let me just jump right in, LOL!. As most of you know, I took my mother on a surprise birthday trip to the island of Oahu a couple of weeks ago. Needless to say, she and I, had an amazing time. For the next couple of days, I'm going to chronicle our trip. I promise you it won't be boring and of course I will be witty....at least in my mind, LOL. The pictures speak for themselves ;-)

My mother talked so much junk about having to be my personal photographer for the trip. LOL. She wanted the focus to be on her clearly. SMH!

So you know our first day was filled with shopping, LOL. This marketplace was so full of stuff I was literally overwhelmed....me....overwhelmed with shopping options.....HAAA!

The wind tunnel in Waikiki is ridiculous!!!

FYI....there are truly no beaches on the island. According to our guide, they ship sand in from Australia and California. The island is surrounded by coral reefs so that's basically what you're gonna see on the shoreline.

I had to pull the hair back because it was whipping all around my face, lol.

These folks were swimming in a very dangerous location. The only thing that saves them from being pounded by the waves are the natural breaks that occur.

This is my absolute favorite scenic photo.....of the day. I couldn't really decide between about 20 of them, LOL.
