Outfit: Floral Mini

Greetings Fashion Pad Readers,

Welcome back from the weekend lovers! I had such an absolutely fabulous one. Like I mentioned on the last post, my little nephew's bday party was on Saturday so of course I went home to participate and help out. I also spent waaayyyy too much money as well. Oh dear, my restraint when it comes to kids is so absent at times. SMH Anyhew, he enjoyed himself and so did the adults. Question, why do the adults come to a kid's party hungry as heck??? It never ceases to amaze me, lol. I also hit up the thrift shop with my mother and I scored a couple of items. I can't wait to share. Speaking of thrifted items, I scooped up this lovely number below that I'm wearing while I was in Chicago last August. The dress was a mere $2.00!!! I had my mom alter it, but I think I measured it a wee bit too short....oops!

I'm so glad I'm short because this dress looks like a tunic on the hanger, LMBO!

From the back it looks okay....but trust me when I say I can't be bending at the waist in this little number.

Of course I love the floral print....clearly, or you know me, I would have opted for a plain garment. This should show you guys that I'm serious about bringing more patterns into my wardrobe.....real talk ;-)

Neutral heels look great with the dress because of the busy pattern, however, I was thinking about scooping up a pink pump to bring out the color in the dress. What do you think?

Earrings - Burlington Coat Factory
Dress - Vintage boutique in Chicago
Belt - Forever 21
Heels - Zara

Arrivederci!

What a cute dress. :)
I always wear my tunic as dresses. You rocked it. I love reading your blog because you have so much personality in it.

I love this tunic/dress. I'd say leggings underneath would still make a semi-dress ;) The floral pattern is pretty too!

Show them legs girl!! I love the print of this dress and the length is perfect in my opinion :) I had a couple dresses shortened a lil too short myself but I'm still gonna rock em, the nude shoes are perfect, let's the dress be the focal point! I can't wait till I can go bare legged again, so jealous of ur weather lol. Looking so girly and pretty Doll .. Love it

@PrettyDarkGirlStyle....you know I'm over hiding my legs. I used to be embarrassed but now I'm like, "what for". I exercise confidence in other areas of my life, might as well start with my body!
