Outfit: Blue and Gray Stripes

Greetings Fashion Pad Readers,

Welcome back from the weekend good people! I ended up spending the weekend with family in my hometown. Needless to say, I had a good time. We actually had a family yard sale and a reunion meeting on Saturday. I also had a chance to catch up on some work so I am proud to say I can go ahead and check that off my list of things to do this week *insert Michael Jordan fist pump here*.

I usually don't post pics of my work attire because, well....I place minimal effort in what I choose for the job. I know that's not how a fashionista should be, however, the times that I've spruced up my style, I got so many people asking me "Ohhh where are you going today?"....or...."Wow you're really dressed up, what's going on?". Ummm...really people? It was a little irritating; but I realize that I am one of those people who feel great AND work more efficiently when they "look good". So, lately I've stepped up my career style game (slightly) and I plan to continue focusing more on my business style wardrobe.

Blue is my absolute favorite color and oddly of enough, I love the combination of blue and gray....especially at work. I know, it's a little odd but I tend to purchase quite a few gray slacks as opposed to black, or any other color.

The pink handbag adds some contrast but still complements this combination well.

Can we all agree that Mary Jane heels are the most comfortable heel style for work???? I own about 4 pairs and I can wear them all every day without any problems!

I should of taken these pics before I went to work....I look tired, LOL.

Hoops and Necklace - Forever 21
Cardigan - Urban Outfitters
Tank - Zara
Pants - Banana Republic (old)
Handbag - Furla
Heels - Target (so comfy)

Girl how do you even have time to think straight with all the things you have going on. You look great for someone who's going to work. I thought that you have to wear uniforms in your line of work?

Looking really cute girl!! I really like the cardi and the handbag!!

I wear SOME of my better outfits when I go to work ( I can't dress down until Friday's) but I hate that I can't take pictures of them like I want to. :-( (it's almost dark when I get home and I really have no one willing to take pictures for me in the dark)

That's two things we have in common...My fave color is also blue and I think Mary Jane's a the most comfy shoe.

I think this look is chic but most important you look comfortable enough to get through a work day. I love that bag!

Loving the striped cardigan!! HUGE fan of stripes here :)

VERY CUTE! and I am right there with you with my "work" wardrobe not being too exciting, but my issue is because a lot of stuff is too snug these days. :(
