Outfit: No Sweatin' It

Greetings Fashionistas,

It's Friiiiiidddday!!!!!! What a good, productive, and challenging week it has been for me. LOVE IT! I checked my schedule and realized I have to work the next two Saturdays so it looks like I'll have to do the rest of my shopping online....or at night (clearly this was an oversight). Sundays are usually reserved for church and relaxation days. Well, unless I need to go shopping, LOL! Lemme stop. I keep telling myself that I'm almost done, but truth be told, I still have a lot to get! Every year I say I'm cutting back on my gifting, and low and behold, I end up doing the same amount of spending!!! And what's even more sad is the fact that I can't just shop for others....ohhhhh no, no, no. I buy one thing for my sister, and buy 3 things for myself. I literally have to go pick up the items I planned to get first, then allow my selfish, jealous, spoiled, inner fashionista to have her fun. If not, this heffa will be fidgety all day long. I need therapy!

Anyways, I went shopping with my mother and auntie and I wanted to wear a sweatshirt, but then I thought how can I make this super casual top look stylish. You all know I was going to be around a lot of people...I had to be chic! I subscribe to the old saying that "you never know who you're going to meet" which is why I try to look put together whenever I leave my house. Well, with that being stated, here is what I came up with below.

I decided to pair the sweater with shorts. I love breaking that fashion rule. I also couldn't wait to wear this fringed scarf again that I discovered at the bottom of my belt trunk....now how did it get there?

It helps that this sweater just so happens to have more of a fitted look. I added my favorite fedora (I have a big head and this fits just right). The ankle boots show there face to toughen up this style.

My earrings are a little "lost" in the pattern of the scarf. Oh well, they had polka dot designs on them which is my absolute FAVORITE pattern/print.

Fedora - Bebe
Earrings - Street vendor
Scarf - can't remember
Sweater and Shorts - Forever 21
Ring - Street vendor in NY
Handbag - Zara
Boots - JC Penney

I hope everyone has a safe and fabulous weekend!!!!

Arrivederci!

Cute outfit!! Love everything but the ankle boots, I think it should have been paired with the combat boots you featured with another outfit but overall "if you like it, I love it!" I hope you don't take that as a jab or anything just my opinion.

Have a great weekend hon!

Cute outfit! I think the scarf topped it all off. I'm so jealous of your weather. It's freezing in Minnesota right now! :)

I'm diggin' this casual chic fit! You would definitely catch my eye if I passed you out shopping;) And I feel you on "the never leave the house lookin' a hot a** mess" (side note...I loathe anyone who leave the house in slippers, print pajama bottoms or scarves...you know the ones they wrap their hair in at night) my momma (just soundin' like Bobby Boucher;)my momma would always say "you never get a second chance to make a first impression" and believe you me I live by that. Anywho hun you look fab and regarding your shopping habits...you have a serious problem dear...lol and that's coming from one shopping addict to another...lol

I really like that scarf. I am obsessed with them..mainly because I can't ever find them or get it to lay perfectly like yours. I am jealous that you're getting to wear shorts.
