New Year Celebration

Greetings Fashion Divas,

I'm thinking about attending a New Year's Eve party this year.....again. This would make the 2nd year in a row if I do decide to go out. I know I'm going to church first, then I'll make a quick wardrobe change...and head on out for a little fun. I'm gonna try to get the gang together to join me...we'll see.

I have options in my closet to wear...of course.....but I know you fab fashion followers identify with me when I say...."I gotta get something to wear!". Oh really Shanequa...really. You are something else (in my best Kevin Hart voice). I honestly come up with any reason to search for clothes, tee hee hee! I love my new blazer and the jumpsuit I actually own has medium ruffles around the bodice and jewels...looks better than my description, promise. Anyhew, I'm thinking real hard about the above option..........

However, I may go with the traditional route and just purchase a sequined/metallic mini such as the frocks I've included below.

A fitted lace mini will be alluring and show off my legs....plus, I just realized that I do not own a black lace dress. The above style is a classic (tube dresses just won't go away), I can also see it paired with my tuxedo blazer. The price is right!

This dress appears to be a lovely, animal-printed mini at first glance, however, I peeped the back of the dress and it was super short and fit like a second skin. That tells me every contour of my body will be imprinted along with the material of this dress. It's a little slutty....I know.....but I still like it!

The scallop design is reminiscent of the '70s disco era. It's all the sparkles you need. But, if you're like me, you'll add a statement ring and maybe a simple pair of hoops ;-) A festive, satin pump in purple will look great wit this shift.

Can we say liquid sequins? Man this one-shoulder number has a really classy style. I love the draping on the bodice of the dress and the fitted skirt. It's sooo cute!
