Greetings Fashion Devotees,
I was recently introduced to a socially conscious fashion site known as Project Iris. This company was developed with a purpose in mind –to create an opportunity for women that like fashion to be able to contribute to causes that effect women. The vision for Project Iris is to grow into a world-changing community that makes a dramatic impact on world hunger, malnutrition and women and children health in developing countries. To spread the word and bring awareness to the problems that women and children face in poverty-stricken countries.
There is a lot more to Project Iris than the stunning graphics and amazing fabric that is manufactured in the U.S.A.: Project Iris is Style with Substance! Project Iris is committed to helping others and has partnered with the World Food Program, the world’s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide. A portion of each Project Iris sale is used to provide nutritious meals to mothers and their young children in the developing world.
In honor of their commitment to fighting world hunger, Project Iris has made an initial donation to the World Food Program USA, the world’s largest humanitarian organization. Their donation provides 12,500 nutritious meals to new mothers and their young children in the developing world.

Below are a few items from the site that I wanted to share with you all.
Dandelions Long Sleeve $53.00
Their inventory includes v-neck and scoop neck short and long sleeve shirts produced in buttery soft burnout fabric and luxurious ringspun cotton. As you can see, each garment is adorned with original artwork designs.
Queen Anne's Lace $39.00
Lotus Watercolor $33.00
I adore the print on the above tank. Super cute! I can definitely use it to go with this high-waisted poof skirt that I've been dying to wear.
The reason I decided to showcase Project Iris is that it shows that a company can still be an efficient and prosperous business while maintaining core values to improve mankind as a whole AND keeping it stylish in the process.
