Greetings Fashion Mavens,
It's no secret that I'm a curvy diva. I struggled with my figure for a loooong time and honestly I still do from time to time. I am a confident chick. But let's face it, for all the things I love about fashion.....I'm only able to rock a fraction of them due to my ample curves. Some things just don't look good on me. I'm okay with that. I prefer to look FAB than awful or I'd rather get ohhss and awwws than ugghs and "oh no she didn't" stares. LOL!
Although I have thick legs, I love to show them off. In my opinion, they are one of my best physical attributes (when I'm in shape ;-). With that being said, mini dresses and shorts are my go to items....summer, spring, fall, AND winter. It's easy to find a dress that complements my figure, but shorts.....well, let's just say it's an ongoing battle and both sides have some major wins and losses, lol.
Today's look is actually a win for curvy girls. I absolutely LOVE these jean shorts. Man oh man I wish I would have tried these on in the store before I bought them. If I knew how well they fit, I would have bought a pair in every color.....real talk.
These shorts allow ample room for a larger thigh.....without looking like a pair of culottes.
And a huge plus.......they DON"T BUNCH while walking!!!!! You know what I'm talking about, that ridiculous bunch of fabric that looks as if your crotch is hungry......just saying. You know it's annoying!
I hurriedly bought these jean shorts when I was searching for an "all white outfit" for a party, not realizing how much I'd like them. I am now a huge fan of Hudson jean shorts. I haven't tried on their full leg jeans because I don't want to get my hopes up, lol. I'm thinking about it, but I haven't made a committment to change my mind just yet. If I do, and my try on session turns out to be a bust.....I'll be sure to let you guys know.
