Greetings Fashion Pad Readers,
Did you all watch the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards last night? I didn't watch the entire show....I flipped back and forth because the show wasn't that exciting in my opinion. But I did stay glued to the tube to catch the red black carpet arrivals. I must say I was highly disappointed but I do have 2 favorites to share with you guys.
Kelly Rowland was my favorite look of the night. She hit the scene in this Falguni and Shane mini from their Fall 2011 collection. The dress combines several elements such as sequined embroidery, sheer panels, and feathers......and it all works! Those spiked Louboutins are the bizness! Kelly looks regal and I LOVE it!
Beyonce, who announced her pregnacy on the black carpet AND during her performance, rocked a gorgeous Lanvin dress for her arrival. She looked absolutely flawless in this classic, draped gown. The orange hue really highlights her natural pregnancy glow and I for one can't wait to see her pregnancy style. Congrats to her and Jay-Z.
There were some other looks that were okay but I wasn't feeling them enough to even post them. The black carpet looks in general were an epic fail! SMH
