Whitney Port has partnered with Piperlime on an exclusive Whitney Eve with Piperlime collection. They announced the partnership with Whitney Port of MTV’s The City the other night at Piperlime's Pop Up store in Soho. The exclusive capsule collection will be available at the New York City Piperlime pop-up store and on piperlime.com.
Offering a unique mix of brands at a range of price points, Piperlime first introduced apparel in fall 2009 and has successfully established itself as an online fashion destination. A collaboration with Whitney Eve, an emerging clothing line launched by Whitney Port in 2009, was a natural union for both brands.
“The Whitney Eve collaboration is a great example of Piperlime responding to what is current and relevant while bringing a fresh twist to the market”, explains Jennifer Gosselin, General Manager of Piperlime. “Whitney Port is known to our customer, through her role on The Hills and most currently on The City. We worked with Whitney to bring her style and aesthetic to our customer in fun, expressive pieces at prices that our shopper will find irresistible.”
Whitney Eve with Piperlime is a fourteen-piece collection including dresses, tops, jackets and sweaters starting at $128. The look of the collection is “ballerina-meets-urbanista:” feminine lace and silk dresses, shiny metallic jackets and delicate details with a touch of attitude.
The Whitney Eve with Piperlime collection will debut with a private event attended by the designer, Whitney Port, at the Piperlime pop-up store on Wednesday, September 22 at 8pm. The line will be available exclusively at the store located on 93 Mercer Street through October 3rd and on piperlime.com beginning Thursday, September 23.
Piperlime has really expanded their brand lately and this collection is just one more step to fashion domination for this brand, LOL. I ain't mad at 'em, as long as they keep bringing the fashion fab items.
