Spring Chiks Mother and Daughter's Day Event

Greetings Fashionistas,

So last Saturday I was invited to share my fashion expertise at a mother and daughter's day event. We covered all the bases for the lovely ladies. My girl Antoinette shared her proper skin etiquette regime for us. It was really great and she has a skin care line coming out soon by the name of Her Skin. As soon as I get more details I'm going to post here on the blog. After the skin segment, we moved the talk to makeup. La'Shanda Davis, co-founder of IIChiks, Inc., a fabolous make-up line then walked us through some application techniques and answered a miriad of questions from the audience. Last, but not least, I covered the trends for spring/summer and gave fashion tips and also answered questions. All and all it was a super fun event and we plan on doing more of these in the future.

I came well prepared with a display board. Felt like a art project when I was putting it together but it served it's purpose.

Spring Fashion Collage, lol. We had some really good questions such how to rework different garments and what are the best shoes for skinny legs and so on and so forth.

This jewelry display was set up so nice.......until we ravaged it looking for unique pieces to add to our jewelry boxes, lol!

We had a good turnout and the audience was very receptive.
