I was recently looking for some chunky platform heels after my post yesterday suddenly had me salivating over platform high heeled shoes again. FYI, I always get like this after I see something I really want, which is too often to discuss for fear of appearing insane. However, after I find something similar I'm usually good......until the next episode. LOL!
Anyhew, after perusing one of my favorite fast fashion sites, Forever 21, I saw a platform heel that has a striking resemblance to the "Victoria" shoe pictured below by Giambattista Valli. This shoe is inspired by and named after Victoria Beckham and premiered in his Fall '07 R/W line. At first, I thought the shoe was too high and too similar to lucite stripper heels for my tastes but after seeing all the different variations in color and materials used to design other forms of the shoe, I changed my mind.

However, I changed my mind again when I saw the price. So imagine my surprise when I saw this cheaper version at Forever 21. I love the neon colors but I prefer the green because it is sooooooo 1980s. That neon pink has shown up in the 80s and early 90s as well. It's too familiar, the green pair will make more of an impact.
