The Fall/Winter Maxi

Greetings Fashionistas,

Yesterday, I wore one of my favorite maxi dresses to work because I was running late and it was the only thing that didn't need ironing. I threw on a cardigan over it and pushed the sleeves up and...............realized that I should have done this ages ago. I mean, women all over love the maxi dress because they're super cute and super comfy.

I like fabrics that move freely and business casual attire can be a little restricting sometimes and on top of that, try staying in professional wear for 14 hours straight and see happy you are at the end of your day! Well, I've decided that I'm going to incorporate the maxi dress into my Fall/Winter wardrobe. Take a look below at some of the available options and be sure to read the suggestions!

Magaschoni V-Neck Maxi Dress

$624.00 www.saksfifthavenue.com

I would definitely recommend pairing either a multi-print scarf or a simple belt with this dress to help break up the monotony. Some trendy ankle boots would also be hot.

Maxi Two Pocket Shirt Dress

$111.99 (on sale) www.bebe.com

Compliment this unique maxi with a medium sized belt (about 2-3 inches wide) and some closed-toe platform heels. This is a great transition look for early Fall.

Tbags Printed Jersey Flutter Sleeve Maxi

$138.00 www.bluefly.com

I would recommend adding a black turtleneck underneath and black low-heeled boots. The colors in this dress work well for the chilly season. They're not too bright.

Philosophy Di Alberta Ferretti Deep V Maxi

$462.00 (on sale) www.net-a-porter.com

The dress is great on its own but to add a little more depth and interest, pair a short sleeve or 3/4-sleeve long cardigan over the dress and add some stiletto heels. The different elements will work fabulously!

KAIPO Long Sleeve Tie-Dye Maxi Dress

$29.99 www.cutesygirl.com

Now this last one is for my boho chics. Wrap a thick wool scarf around your neck and some flat boots.

TTFN!

I googled winter maxi and up came your blog. How I wish I could afford all of those dresses. Sadly I can't and could not do justice to them as I am 75 and size 18 [uk]

I am going to have a hip replacement on the 30th of november and will not be able to wear trousers for a while and as I am quite eccentric thought I might find something [hip] oh dear, sorry, to wear as I recuperate. The last dress I could well afford but want something warmer.
anyway, it was great to find your blog,I shall spread the word that you are there. My daughter would love your clothes.
