Foremost, Happy Independence Day! I hope everyone will be out and about spending time with family, friends, and barbecuing like there's no tomorrow. Also, all the retailers, in store and online, are having huge sales so get out and make me proud! Oh yeah, enjoy the fireworks as well!
Now to the fashion post.
I was first interested in this maxi dress from ArdenB a couple of weeks ago, but I wasn't able to purchase it at that time. And well, thank goodness I didn't because it's on sale! My best friend and I are going shopping today and I'm going to hope to see this dress on the sales racks.... ripe for the taking that is. Quite honestly, the zig-zag pattern makes me a little concerned as horizontal stripes usually make people appear wider (large). Additionally, I'm not a huge fan of crochet but the trim around the neckline is cute and adds another element to the dress. I'll see how it works out.
