Splish Splash

I've been dreading this moment because I still am not quite ready but the Summer is here (not officially) but it's hot enough to start the vacations, trips to the beaches, and pool parties. So this week let's highlight the offerings for swimwear and accessories from our retailers and online boutiques. First up, the main event - swimsuits.

1. Bikinis - a favorite among the young and old who are fit to wear, basically, waterproof bra and panties. LOL! Just kidding, they're fun and versatile and because of that versatility their are soooo many to choose from and so many styles to cover. I'm just going to give you all a little snapshot to help you get started. Check them out below.

If you have a large bust, the halter bikini is a good choice because it provides great support.

If you would like more coverage don't opt for the larger size and think that will help, just pick a swimsuit that is cut to cover more, like a higher waist.

Red Hot Romance $44.00/piece

Americana $122.00

To distract from you bottom half wear a solid bottom and a printed top that will attract the eyes upward

2. One-Piece - The original swimsuit. It complements all shapes and offers more coverage. A monokini helps with certain problem areas but it also creates the illusion of curves and gives you a funky tan line. LOL!

$89.00 http://www.swimwearboutique.com/

The rouching on this suit is going help camouflage a problem stomach.

Tiger One Piece
Miraclesuit Aurora One Piece
$146.00 http://www.nordstrom.com/

The skirt portion helps to camouflage large hips and thighs. It greatly flatters a woman with a full figure.

3. Tankini - not sure of the appeal of these suits besides providing more coverage.

Tankini Set $138.00 http://www.everythingbutwater.com/

Calvin Klein Tankini top-$72.00
bottom-$62.00 http://www.saks.com/
I actually like this tankini. It's bright and covered in prints. The orange will look great with all skin tones.
Happy Hunting!
