I love long weekends! It feels like a mini vacay...sort of. Anyhew, a couple of friends and I went shopping for Memorial Day sales on Saturday.
I was really good and I only purchased two items that totalled less than $50. You can see them below.
I think I'll wear this dress, which hits a couple of inches below my knee, to somebody's wedding this summer. Or some event I hope to run across. LOL!
Later on that evening my friend and I went out to eat and the weather was getting ugly so I changed into something super casual and threw on my fedora because the hair could not get a drop of rain on it!

Jeans: MUDD (I cut them off and usually only wear them when I'm being a bum)

On Memorial day it was family day with plenty of BBQ's and talks of the old days and the days to come. Family loves to reminisce about your embarrassing childhood moments......it's their God-given right! It was a beautiful, relaxing day so I put on my most comfortable ensemble - a dress and sandals.
