I received my metallic gold gladiators in the mail today from Forever21. I told you ladies that I will never pay an obscene amount of money for a short-lived trend. My sandals were a mere $12.50. Yip Yip Hooray! I can't wait to wear them, but I don't know when that's going to be because I awoke to a chilly morning and I'm told it's going to get down into the 40s this evening. What? How does this happen in central Florida at the end of April. I don't know what's going on, it's usually warm from Easter until the middle of May when it turns H-O-T. If you can only see the disappointment on my face right now. Oh well, eventually they'll get some usage and I already know exactly how I'm going to wear them.
So I know you're looking at the picture like....these are not the ones from Forever21. True, they are identical, but the above are by Bettye Muller and they are currently at Bloomingdale's for $420.00. Geesh! I'm sorry but I couldn't find my USB cord to upload the pic of my sandals from my camera. But I can assure you, they look identical to the above. I really do not like to buy knock-offs, thus my fascination with designers such as FURLA, Cole Haan, Betsey Johnson, etc., but I was unaware prior to my purchase. Although.....I should definitely know that there aren't too many "original" items in Forever 21. Oh well!
