Outfit: Printed Skirt and V-neck

Greetings Fashion Friends,

Have you guys ever had problems coming up with a catchy title for your posts? Well that's what I experienced this morning so don't laugh at the lack of creativity. I was like eff it I'm just gonna state the obvious, lol.

Last night I attended a poetry show and I was intending to only stay for a short while to support a friend of mine, but I ended up staying the entire show because it was so good. This show featured poets, of course, singers, and comedians. And now, I have a new found respect for folk who expose their inner most thoughts...it's super hard to get up in front of a crowd and perform pieces that reflect your personal experiences and inner most thoughts. The feature poet was so open and honest about her struggles with sex, her relationship with God, etc. It was very sobering and the chick was awesome with her wordplay. I love poetry that hit you like a ton of bricks. But that's just my preference. I also have mad sympathy for comedians. This guy last night was really not that good. Poor thing was struggling with his jokes. He was just getting out there and for me, it was a little painful to listen to him but he was a trooper and kept it moving. I was inspired....not to write poetry, or jokes or anything, but to continue to press on doing the things that I love no matter the setbacks that may occur along the journey. #winning

Trying hard to step my game up with prints. I like this particular skirt because the pattern is cute and not to overwhelming for my minimalistic tastes.

Haaaa! Pole fitness is getting my calves right ya'll, LOL!

I love that skirt! The print looks great and the poetry show sounds like fun! I have never attended anything like it but should be on the lookout for something like it!

Thanks hunni! I take my writing very seriously. And now that I reread the post, I see some got darn grammatical errors. Ugh!

I'm not even gonna lie or play humble....my shoe collection is off the chain and I can't seem to stop shopping. SMH

Woman you just made my freakin day!!!

Thanks hunni! The key is to talk about what happened or what you observed in your day to day activities and I promise you will have to pull yourself away from the keyboard ;-) If that doesn't work....talk about why you chose that particular outfit.
You are really beautiful, I love the look, that is an amazing skirt.
About performing arts, being a Cultural Manager, I don't have anything to say hahaha, too much for, these artists, me, being one of them hahaha.

CUTE!! I love that skirt! I need some pole fitness in my life! =D

The title of my post is usually the last thing that I write. I do that because sometimes, I don't know what it's going to be until I'm done with the post. If I write it first, 99% of the time, I end up changing it once I'm done writing anyways.

I admire people that can get up and share their poems, spoken word, songs etc..... because I write but I don't have the courage to share my stuff, maybe one day!
