On Sunday, I decided to take my "new" culottes for a spin. I remember wearing these a ton while growing up in the 90s but this modern take on the classic culottes brings in the midi trend. I'm a shorty (height - 5'2"), so I was a little worried that the width and length of these culottes would be a little overwhelming. However, I couldn't pass up on there $8 price tag plus I like to break the fashion rules every now and then ;-)

I tried to balance the wide pants leg by cinching the waist. I wish I would have used a slimmer belt, but hey, it worked somewhat.
Also, these thin, ankle-strapped heels helped to reduce the appearance of a 'shortened' leg.......something I need absolutely no help with, lol.
