Outfit: Sheath Dress and Multi-Colored Scarf

Greetings Fashion Mavens,

How was your weekend? I didn't really do much but it was still awesome!!!! I'm sure you all have noticed, but I will just go ahead and state the obvious; I have not posted on Mondays in months. I've avoided blogging on Mondays because I have a serious case of the Monday blues. No need to push off my cynicism on you guys, lol. However, my coworker told me to use Mondays as my day of introspection, and not as the start of the work week. She told me to take "work" completely out of it. Hmmm.....I'll try this out. I don't want any day of the week to take me out of my communion with God. I know that I have to work....it's biblical. So no need to get out of pocket right? Exactly.

At church on Sunday, I was super late (shame on me). Although, I made it to hear the sermon, I totally missed the scripture reference. My pastor usually refers back to scripture quite often but he didn't this time. Geesh louise! I just gotta do better. This was the 2nd week in a row that I was late. No real excuse, just doing crap that I shouldn't have been doing (i.e. tidying up my room, folding clothes, etc.). Anyhew, I took out a dress that my sis bought for me and paired it with some colorful accessories.

The dress came with a neon orange belt but I wanted to complement my infinity scarf with metallic accents.

 

 

$5 heels anyone???? I love a good deal just like the next chick ;-)

 

And theses high heels are really comfortable. Say what? Yes, they are painless! I can truly attest to this as I was standing at church on these bad boys.

 

 

 

 

This sheath crept up my thighs with each step.....annoying but it's all my fault. I should have put on a slip. I do own one.....I think, lol.
