Outfit: Day to Night Sequins

Greetings Fashion Mavens,

I procrastinated last night so I'm up early co-washing my hair and I guess getting ready to pull it up into a high bun since I have to get to work. Who does this???? I need an intervention and I just started managing my own natural hair. SMH.

Below are pics taken from a couple months ago. I went to my friend's birthday dinner and decided to pull out my sequined joggers for a jazzy look. FYI.....I had to crop my pictures because I forgot to have one of my friends take my blog pics. Oh well.

My sequined joggers were a big hit. I freakin LOVE them.....however, if you have large thighs like me....just be warned there may be some sequins missing from the inside of your thighs by the end of the night, LOL. That should have made me sad but it's just too hilarious!

I know it seems daunting to wear sequins to dinner, however, if you allow another part of your outfit to be your focal point (i.e., my graphic print clutch), you can tone down the look.

Also, choosing sequins in pastel or light colors are great for transitioning from day to night......

Several of my friends I cropped out of the above pics.....we had a great time but the food was overpriced and subpar and the service was horrible!!!!

Adeus!

You look so fabulous, the joggers are lovely and love how you styled it with a neutral top and a print clutch for some color! How clever is that, using a laptop case as a purse - fashion is fun! Great as always girl!

Love the pants and shoes. I went going to places where the food is crap and too expensive, but hey, if you're in good company it definitely helps make up for it.
