Outfit: Doesn't Everyone Love Chocolate?

Greetings Fashion Pad Readers,

Welcome back from the weekend. It's a lovely Monday and I'm doing everything in my power to get my day...and week....off to a fabulous start. I have a lot to accomplish before my brief getaway beginning Friday. My sister and I are taking our mom to New York City this upcoming weekend. I know this trip is intended for my mom.....it's her birthday......but I am going to enjoy the heck out of this extended weekend. Shopping, Broadway shows, and exploring are all on the agenda..... among other things ;-) Can't wait!


I used to love to rock different shades of brown....like, all the time. I'm an earth tone chick at heart. Those colors are warm and relaxing. However, milk chocolate was my favorite hue. It was not til years later that I realize I looked super washed out.........and like a bar of chocolate, LOL.

Excuse the super bright images. I took these photos at twilight right before me and the boo was headed out for a show. I was pressed for time so no earrings, rings, bracelets, or hair grooming. SMH. At least I was able to grab this necklace.....

I thought I was looking thoughtful here......on retrospect, I actually look a little melancholic, LOL.
