This simple dress makes a powerful impact. Although this gown is not form fitting, the material this gown is made from will graze your curves nicely. The racer back design looks awesome on this lovely number.

ASOS Embellished Midi Dress with Open Back

I am absolutely smitten with the above dress. The back action will surely turn heads and the embellished design is perfect for a holiday party. Please don't wear shoes like the model is wearing...I think they were trying to keep the focus only on the dress. At least I hope, LOL.

If your party is formal, this dress would be a feasible choice (it comes in other colors as well). The open back dips really low, just right for a dramatic exit ;-)

I could not download the back of this dress for the life of me. It has a semi open back consistent with most halter styles. The cut is classic, however, the cascading ruffles paired with the thigh high slit gives it a modern update.

Now this dress is not a gown, however, I had to add it to the list because that exposed back is hot and the price is awesome! I think the dress would work great if you paired it with a statement necklace and/or earrings and an embellished pair of heels.

Yet another unique back that will surely be a conversation starter. Most open back designs are rounded but I love the daring 'v' shape above. Sexy!
