Outfit: New Peplum Skirt and Calypso Pumps

Greetings Fashionistas,

Happy Friday!!!! Yaayyyy *throws confetti in air* I'll be headed out of town today to visit my sister and to be in town for my alma mater's homecoming festivities! Go RATTLERS!!!! I'm a proud alumni of Florida A&M University and I am most thrilled to see my old hangout spots (okay I'm embellishing the truth, LOL). The only "hanging out" I did was at the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences! I'm sure to have a lot of fun but I'm not going to the game. I'll just do my normal street vendor shopping and hit up the vintage spots until the game is over. Can.Not.Wait!!!!

In the mean time, I'll happily share photos of my outfit before I headed to a party this past Saturday. I was too excited to wear my new peplum skirt (it fits....hip, hip, hooray) and cobalt blue heels. I didn't know if folks would be super casual so I tried to tone down this potentially glam look by adding a v-neck tee. I was still a tad overdressed but of course you know I didn't care, LMBO!

I cannot wait to get my hair done......I have no skills so this mop is looking more and more tired every day. And exercising daily doesn't help either, LOL.

I have a little tail in the back of this skirt. So fun!

This outfit made me appear pretty darn slim if I may say so myself.....hmmm, speaking of - note to self:  repeat exact silhouette as above for next five outings

You all know I had to scoop these babies up! Sole Society sent me that good $20 off and my eyes were instantly attracted to the vibrant blue hue! I also love the cutout design on the back of the shoe.....HOT!
