Outfit: Peplum Top and Relaxed Fit Shorts

Greetings Fashion Friends,

Hump day is here and I don't feel like I've made it over any hump, lol. So much to do and so little time. I have to go back to my drawing board and reevaluate how I'm distributing my time for certain projects. Your advice is much appreciated ;-)

This past weekend, I halfway "cleaned out" my closet. After I finished, my aunt took all of my shoes that I was going to give away to GoodWill. I told her she should be ashamed of herself. She said she refused to be ashamed because she wouldn't be able to afford some of the heels I was giving away anyhow. Hot mess! We, of course, wear the same size, but we don't rock the same heel height so I don't know why she took some of them! Oh wait, I forgot she told me that she's going to wear the high heels at least once then give them away to somebody who could walk in them easily. That lady is hilarious!

FYI, I'm a little behind on my photos....which actually is okay since that's less pressure to take personal style pics. The outfit I'm sporting below was worn to meet up with two of my girlfriends. These chicks love fashion even more than me! They live it, breath it, make money off of it, and are talented as heck. I wish I could have captured pics of their outfits but I left my camera home by accident. Ugh! And no, my camera phone is quite wack in my opinion so I did not whip it out.

I went for an understated hopefully sexy look. And because I showed my legs in this semi short bottom (disappointed in the casual cut), I covered up my top half with this 3/4 sleeve peplum top. I had on the wrong bra because the top was tight around the bust and really threw off the fit. I took the bra off and switched to a wireless one before I left. The fit was perfect after that!

Sidebar - Can anybody tell me what causes the hazy look in pics??? It's soooooo annoying!

Heeeyyyyy Giuseppe! Where have you been hiding? Apparently I buy items for display in my closet. So tragic!

Oh yea, for those of you who inquired, that Shellac nail polish lasted for about 10 days and then tore off a layer of my nails. Not as bad as acrylic or gel.....but I was sorely disappointed. I will not be getting that done anymore. I will stick to my good ole faithful nail lacquers and stay away from those "lasts 2 weeks" gimmicks.

I was hesitant to add the black statement necklace on top of this black blouse. I thought it was a little risky, however, the necklace really sparkles at night when the fluorescent lights hit it. Thank goodness it didn't get "lost".

I should have put on some makeup, but then again, I really only know how to do a bomb mascara and lip job, lol. I shouldn't be laughing because that's super sad but whatever! Just call me fresh faced diva, lol.

Necklace - H&M
Top - Forever 21

Luv the entire look especially the shoes and the pop of color you added with the bag!
I love a good peplum! And your hair looks really pretty :) I feel you on the makeup! I say that too, but my brushes are dirty, so welp, I do without, LOL. We'll do better.
