Inspiration Sets - The Classics

Greetings Fashion Friends,

I love styling. My personal looks are minamalistic, however, I enjoy creating edgy, fashion forward, whimsical, etc. looks for others. Per usual, I was inspired when I got on Polyvore last night. Below is some random looks I came up with. However, each set has a classic garment that no woman should be without ;-)

Classy Lady

I love turquoise and black and white paired together. Add another contrasting color such as red and you've got a spellbinding attire. Diana Ross would rock the hell out of this in a modern remake of Mahogany. Every diva needs a pencil skirt. This classic item never goes out of style and is flattering to all shapes.

It's A Girl Thang!!!

River Island paisley jacket

High heel

Chloé oversized handbag

LACEBYTANAYA chain jewelry

This printed blazer is all you need to stalk into a room of fashion followers.....I'm thinking fashion's night out would be very appropriate. The blazer can instantly add depth to any old dress or tee and jeans. Even if you have only one.....it's a serious must have!

Etheral Attire

Forte Forte long maxi skirt

Dorothy Perkins envelope clutch

Leaf jewelry

Dolce Gabbana bronze makeup
$51 - harrods.com

Pink and gray is such an etheral look. Tuck in the gray shirt in the combo above for a more feminine, polished look. A really good t-shirt that you can dress up or down is also a good classic for any woman's closet. I have tons.

Thinking About Paris.....

Mango slim fit jeans
$54 - mango.com

Mar Y Sol clutch handbag
$81 - fashion-conscience.com

Chain necklace
modcloth.com

Gucci sunglasses
$355 - psyche.co.uk

This set above is my absolute favorite of them all! The heels speak to me.....the distressed skinnies are sexy, and that classic long sleeved button down is the perfect staple item. A statement necklace and huge sunglasses take this look to chic socialite!

Arrivederci!

I love the Classy Lady combo. You're right! There's something about lace, white and turquoise and some red thrown in there... that House of Harlow clutch is awesome!
And you right, Diana Ross would rock the heck out of it!!!
