Sunny Skies and Red Bottoms

Greetings Fashionistas,

Happy FRIDAY!!!! This day is super fab because not only is it the end of the work week, it's my awesome mommy's birthday, AND we are leaving for the island of Oahu in the beautiful state of Hawaii. *throws confetti*

This is what we will be doing the majority of the time......

This is just one of the views we will be looking at ALL of the time. Happy birthday to me and mommy!!!!

My mom actually thought she was going to New York for her birthday trip this year but my sister and I (and I'll give tiny props to our brother, lol) planned this trip for her back in January. *insert evil maniacal laugh here* My sister told her on Wednesday because she's not going to be able to go with us :-( and can you believe my mother did not believe her! LMBO! It didn't even sink in until about 5 minutes into the conversation that I had with her later that evening, lol. That lady wore us out with her anti-climatic response...SMH.

However, she surely made up for it later that evening and ALL of yesterday. When she answers the phone or speaks to anyone, she greets them with 'Aloha', LOL. This is her dream trip so of course I was only too thankful to be able to bless her with this surprise. Thank you God for your grace, mercy, and unconditional love! We are so not worthy!!!!! We will be gone for just under a week, but I will still be posting so feel free to come back and show your girl some love :-)



Now, can I get a drum roll please..........*insert snare and base drum sounds here* I would like to introduce you all to my new favorite closet addition......

I finally just took the plunge when I went to Miami briefly last weekend. I was originally looking for these heels in black or tan, however, the salesman was persistent and had me wait until he showed me the above color. I immediately fell in love. Seriously guys, my photos do NOT give this sexy stiletto justice!

I must confess to you guys.......these heels are the first pair that I am struggling to walk in, LOL! They are not that high....but the low cut and sexy silhouette make me feel as if I'm tilting over. LOVE it!!!!!

I'm so glad the salesman insisted I look at this particular color. I mean really, I live in sunny Florida people, I will be able to wear these the majority of the year if I so wish. Not to mention, I don't plan on these being my last pair. I will still scoop up the black or tan pair if I run across them....or another heel altogether ;-)

So guys, are you proud of me or think I made a hasty decision (DISCLAIMER: I will ignore all naysayers, LMBO)
