Greetings Fashion Mavens,
I have Part III of a reader request to share with you all from my girl Ebony:
One of my best friends is getting married soon and for her special pre-celebration we are having a full day of activities. Its on a Saturday and includes a daytime lingerie shower. Then we are carpooling for a short road trip and doing dinner, bar hopping, and a club. THEN back to the hotel for a strip show. Yeah, a lot!
For the shower, I'm going to be moving and doing a lot to set up and clean up so too many layers will be restricting I think. I want to be comfortable for the drive to DC. For dinner, bar hopping, club - I'm at a loss. I want to be versatile and just be able to switch my shoes and maybe an accessory or two. I also want to be non-fussy so that I can move about easily.
Today I'm giving her a couple suggestions for the strip show.......I know that Ebony wants to be comfortable and after all the traveling and partying, jeans will be a welcome reprieve. But I also threw in an easy dress as an option as well.
For the last outfit of the night, get comfortable but remain stylish in a pair of boyfriend jeans. Add a simple tank and gladiator heels for a super casual yet chic style.
An oversized tee is cute and casually stylish paired with some skinny jeans. Add a bit of color with brightly hued flats. Simple accessories will round out this look well.
Leggings are also perfect for a comfortable evening look. Pair with a top that has a relaxed fit and possibly jazz up the casual ensemble with a scarf or statement necklace. A pair of flat combat boots add a bit of edginess.
At the end of the night.....I know you are going to be tired. A maxi dress is such a quick and chic look to throw on without being too fussy. It's also something I'm sure you already own. Spruce it up with a belt or one statement piece but other than that.....just enjoy the simple styling.
It has been a joy styling for this three part challenge. Have fun Ebony!!! And take pictures :-)
Arrivederci!
