Reader Request: Complementing New Shorts

Greetings Fashionistas,


What's good people? It's FRRIIIIDAAAAYYYY! Also known as the start of the 2-day break from work (I know, that makes it sound depressing). Anyhew, I'm headed out of town this weekend and I cannot wait to kick it with my girls. Yaaaaayyyyyy *insert happy dance here* I will be in the D.C. metro area so I'll try my best to hit up some of my blogger friends located in the area. It would be rude not to! 


Well, before I get out of here, let me share this reader request I received a couple of days ago from Kristi:

Can you help me find a blouse and shoes for an everyday look, with these shorts?

Alright Kristi, thanks so much for the pic and the link to the actual website! I have some fun ideas for you and not knowing what your default style is (i.e. tomboy, chic, modern, whimsical, etc.) I totally threw in a bit of everything. My "every day" look is a bit all over the place so I assume most women I style for switch it up as much as I do. Now let's get started.

Look 1: I think pairing the shorts with a killer pump in a bright color will pop! In addition, add some patterns to create a chic and stylish outfit
