Outfit: Soft Pleats

Greetings Fashion Divas,

I guess it's pretty obvious that I've suddenly become enamored with pleats. They're my "of the moment" go to item. I think soft pleats are supremely flattering. In addition, if you're a curvy diva like moi, I  would recommend gravitating towards pleated skirts/dresses in floaty fabrics such as chiffon, or soft cotton blends. They lay against your curves beautifully. Now pants on the other hand can be a little tricky to pull off. Pants that are pleated in the front can appear to add bulk....I tend to become all military-ish and proceed with a complete about face when I see pants with front pleats *cringes*.

Below is yet another pleated skirt I found hidden in my closet (why was it hidden......I have no earthly idea!). But it generated plenty of compliments and inquiries of where I purchased the skirt. Unfortunately for them, I bought this little number 2 years ago during one of Zara's infamous end of season sales. SCORE!!!

Please excuse the bulky pager. I clearly forgot that I was wearing it. You know the hospital will probably never get rid of these inexpensive means of communication, lol.

I also "discovered" this lovely belt I purchased years ago. Shopping my closet has been a real surprise (I know, Idk why I'm surprised either). At first, I didn't have much faith in my ability to restrain from purchasing, but I prevailed! However, I have made several online purchases recently.....I scooped up about 10 items from various stores. But here's the kicker.....I spent less than $100 bucks total! GO ME!
