Greetings Fashion Mavens,
I'm introducing a new segment here where I post photos of my fav celeb stylista. Most of the images are gonna be inspirational....but a few will definitely be converted into "the look for less", lol. I'm starting this thing off right.....with none other than the absolutely fabulous Solange Knowles.
Arrivederci!
I'm introducing a new segment here where I post photos of my fav celeb stylista. Most of the images are gonna be inspirational....but a few will definitely be converted into "the look for less", lol. I'm starting this thing off right.....with none other than the absolutely fabulous Solange Knowles.
On the left Solange beautifully mixes prints based on their pattern commonality. On the right, she's spotted at a fashion show with big sis working a pair of patterned trousers. HOT!
On the left I was so in love with this ethereal dress with the sexy side front slit. Then, she went back to Janet Jackson Poetic Justice braids and I was like werk bish!!!
I love the mix of textures and patterns on the dress on the left. It's like color blocking and pattern mixing wrapped into one! On the right she embodies summer chic with the boldly colored pants and straw boat hat.
As you can see on the left, Solo is not afraid to mix patterns and why should she? She does it so well! Love the bold maxi skirt on the right.
Cute laid back look on the left. On the right, I sense a little 70s flair with the wildly patterned button down and platform Louboutin cork wedges. That hair is just F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!!!!
The Grecian gown on the left is so simple and hella sexy! The banana pantsuit is the bizness! I went out looking for a pantsuit the very next day after I spotted Solo in this number.
On the top, she rocks fierce color blocking in structured pieces. I love the leopard print heels! And her son is too cute! Those wide leg green pants on the bottom are needed in my closet ASAP!!! Her accessories always make a statement, but she embraces the minimalistic style.
On the left she took a page right out of a 1970s glamour magazine. I love the floppy hat, the long knit cardigan, the wide leg pants, and bandeau top. The graphic print gown on the right is perfect for a fashion forward diva's red carpet arrival.
So what do you all think about my celeb style crush? Oh yeah, and be gentle. Solange can do no wrong in my book, LOL.
Arrivederci!
