Reader Request - The Right Pair

Greetings Fashion Pad Readers,

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I have a reader request to share with you all from Nikki. I have been slacking on my reader requests and most of the time I just shoot you all an email. My bad. I've been pressed for time on all fronts :(

Hey Shanequa,

Could you please help me find some cheap shoes to go with this dress I bought from Asos. I have a tendency to try to match colors and I can't find these colors so I thought I'd ask for your help.

Thank you,

This is a super cute dress Nikki. I used to be a color coordinator when it came to my shoes, outfit, and accessories. It was insane. Oh well, I have learned that the best way to diversify a brightly colored wardrobe is to complement with neutrals. Check out some choices below to see what I mean.

DKNYC Remi $49.99 (on sale) www.piperlime.com

I think this chunky platform brown heel will look great with this dress, especially if you're headed out with the bf.

Cut Out Peep Toe Heel $29.80 www.wetseal.com

I think the above hue is perfect for a summer bright such as the one you have Nikki. The shoes give your frock a slightly edgy style but the tan color keeps it toned down and not too over the top.
Sparkling Bead Sandals $19.80 www.forever21.com

Summer sandals are a perfect complement to any dress. They can surely give off a relaxed look but the beauty is that they still manage to look fresh and modern.

Chinese Laundry womens traffic jam pump
$69.00 (on sale) www.endless.com

Now if you decided to wear this dress to an event such as a summer soiree, just pair it with the above heels and throw on a white linen blazer. Tres' fab!!!

Nine West 'Braxton' Wedge Sandal $49.90 www.nordstrom.com

I included this style for the color coordinator in you ;-) While the straw wedge is synonymous with summer, I wanted to add a tiny bit of continuity with the color blocking design of the dress.

I hope I gave you some ideas you can use Nikki!!!

Au revoir!
