Emerging Designer - Brittany DeShields

Greetings Fashionistas,

I have the pleasure of introducing a lovely, hardworking clothing designer by the name of Brittany DeShields. Brittany discovered her love for fashion design as a student at Delaware State University in 2004, during which she sewed and designed her first garments as a hobby and a creative outlet. However after transferring to Temple University as a Marketing Major with little time to study fashion design, Brittany became a self-taught designer and seamstress.

In 2008, Brittany launched her first collection entitled B.DeS, geared toward confident women between the ages of 23-33. The B.DeS collection is for a woman who is not afraid to own her sex appeal. The collection embodies Brittany’s signature style of sexy form fitting dresses complete with creative, revealing sheer inserts in vibrant colors. Brittany currently has design studios located in the Port Richmond area of her hometown Philadelphia, as well as on 7th Avenue in New York City.

I absolutely LOVE this bodysuit! It is so cute. It has the right amount of sex appeal without going overboard by revealing too much. I would be happy to pair it with a pencil skirt or tailored dress pants and sky high open-toe pumps.

The romper above is oh so lovely. Such a great day to night transition item. Thong sandals and a crossbody will work during the day, and platform pumps, a clutch, and statement earrings for a night on the town.

This fitted mini is right on trend with its color-blocking design. I'm an 80s baby and the asymmetrical pattern reminds me of the height of the neon brigade.....geometric and asymmetric shapes were very prevalent.
