One of the many trends for Fall 2010 included the shearling lined jacket/coat. I'm a big fan of this style, but strangely, I don't have one in my possession. I was browsing on Net-a-Porter (a girl can dream right) when I spotted this super fly jacket below.

I think suede is seriously underated. This jacket has an asymmetric, oversized press-stud fastening collar, zip-fastening cuffs, side-slit pockets, and a fierce raw hem. I love the wide color. But alas, this price is more than my mortgage........whew, I feel faint.

This jacket is completely leather (no suede) but it has that wide color with that black on black look. The price is looking a LOT better but I still continue to look for a more affordable alternative.

The above jacket wins the look for less award. We started at over $3000 and found the style for less at just under $70. Yippie! This jacket is also made with suede so it fits better with the designer jacket above.
