Greetings Fashion Friends,
I'm following Fashion Week...from afar :(.....but I am loving what I'm seeing for Spring 2011. I can't wait to do a mini review of what to expect when NY Fashion Week comes to an end. Which is hopefully soon. I mean I'm not there so of course I'm gonna be a hater, LOL!
But I will admit that I have been inspired to style based on the fabulous garments I've seen going down those runways.....and spotted in the audience. So I've chosen Stella McCartney's Cropped Wool Pants as my garment muse for this challenge.
Style Challenge - Cropped Wool Pants by Fashion Pad featuring a cotton tank
I've always wanted a harness but I could never find one that was classy or tame enough to wear out....until I spotted this one at farfetch.com. Cropped pants that are tapered at the hem look fabulous paired with pumps.....preferably high heeled pumps. To take the above look into fall and winter, just layer a blazer or shearling coat on top.
Style Challenge - Cropped Wool Pants II by Fashion Pad featuring cotton tops
The nerd look is still in and this outfit pays homage to their very influential style. The bright sneakers pop against the gray and white. You can't go with the traditional handbag with this style, grab a crossbody messenger to really own the look.

By now, I'm sure you all realize that I love to pair feminine pieces with tough accessories. The silky blouse gets a tough look when paired with animal print sky high pumps and a punky clutch.
Style Challenge - Cropped Wool Pants - IV by Fashion Pad featuring a marc jacobs satchel
The above quirky style reminds me of Solange Knowles and Kelly Rowland. Solange clearly rocks an ecletic look and Kelly stradles the fence between glamour and ecletic.
Au revoir!

These pants are very well made. The cargo pockets lay perfectly along the front and side seams. And check out the little belt at the waist. Too cute!
