Greetings Fashion Pad Readers,
Welcome back from the weekend fabulous people! As usual, I had a good one relaxing with family and friends. I didn't do any shopping this weekend so I'm super proud of myself......but that doesn't mean I didn't try, LOL! Anyhew, I have a reader request I'm going to share with you all from fab reader Ericka.
I seriously need to find a good pair of combat boots. I was trying NOT to fall into this trend trap but I can't help but want a pair so I saw some styles I'm interested in but was hoping you could find me a cheap pair or two so I will feel comfortable with my purchase.
Thanks in advance,
Okey doke Ericka. It's really sad but I want a pair too. It's not even my style but I just love how these fashionistas are pulling off the look! However, I'm going to try and hold out so I won't make an emotional purchase that will sit in my closet without any TLC from me, lol!
But for you Ericka, I've tried to gather some affordable options below. Check 'em out.
Wanted Prague Lace-Up Boot $59.50 http://www.delias.com/
I like this short boot Ericka. It will work great with a lot of outfits. Try with distressed cut-offs, a cute little romper, or a mini floral dress. It's a great contrast to a feminine garment.
Zipper trim leatherette combat boot
$31.30 http://www.gojane.com/
The exposed zipper on the side is really edgy and I imagine a tough moto jacket or any leather jacket will work well to enhance the bad ass vibe ;-)
Seychelles Meteor Shower II $149.95 http://www.zappos.com/
The above pair is a little pricey but an option that I didn't exclude cause you may think it's an okay price.
G by GUESS Frollic Combat Boot $79.50 http://www.amazon.com/
This boot is so tough and rough looking I almost didn't post it, lol. But I guess that's the point of a combat boot right?
Faux Leather Lace Up Back Buckle Combat Boot
$25.99 http://www.amiclubwear.com/
Here's another super sweet deal. I like the look of these super affordable boots and while I imagine they're probably not the best in terms of longevity, they will work just fine for this trendy style.
Commbat Bootie $69.97 (on sale) http://www.stevemadden.com/
I like this short bootie. It will definitely make your legs appear miles long if you pair them with some cut-off short shorts, a long tank, and fedora.
Wanted Woman's Queen Shoe $69.00 http://www.shoes.com/
More in line with a fashionable boot, this lace up combat will look fab over a pair of dark jeggings or skinny jeans.
Jeffrey Campbell All Lace Up Combat Boots
$154.00 (on sale) http://www.shopbop.com/
I know this pair is a little pricey but I don't know what you consider "cheap" so I thought I'd give you a variety of options. The leather on this boot looks perfectly distressed.
I hope this little list is helpful Ericka :-)
Au revoir!
