Spring '10 Trends - Neutrals

Greetings Fashion Friends,

Today I meet with my personal trainer and I'm both exhilarated and frightened. He sounds like he means business and that means I need to be mentally prepared for a challenge. Oh well, this is exactly what I need at this point. I'll tell you all how it went tomorrow......if I'm able to. These bones are getting old, LOL!

Anyhew, I want to continue our coverage of the 2010 spring trends. Today we will be covering...............neutrals.

It seems as if this trend is seen every spring season but you know what? That's quite okay. You can definitely win with this trend if you invest in a couple of pieces. Now check out a few of our celebrities jumping on board the bandwagon below.

Zoe Saldana rocks her neutral lace mini at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon. Monique flaunts her curves in a form fitting sheath as she strolls with her husband at the Independent Awards.

There are plenty of options in stores. I've cherry-picked several for you all below.

Pearl of Africa Jacket
Purchasing a trench, either in the classic style, or a little modernized like the one above is a must!

My Pant's Dublin Cargo Pants
I love this fitted cargo trend. It's a really hot look and I'm all for tastefully flaunting your curves.

ASOS Basic Lightweight Scoop
Longline Top $20.51 www.asos.com
As this top implies, it's a great lightweight addition for those balmy nights.

Drawstring Flutter Tunic
What a cute casual tunic that I could see my vertically challenged self trying to wear as a dress :-).

Chinese Laundry Love Me Sandal
Neutral shoes work well with all colors. I especially like to pair a neutral heel/pump with a LBD (little black dress) or LWD (little white dress)

RIBBED TANK DRESS $48.00 www.bcbg.com
I think this tank dress by BCBG is simplicity at its best. Super cute!

Well get out there and get shopping! I'll see you guys back tomorrow for more trends!

Au revoir!
